古橋治人作　大さじ ［21049200000］ | Large Spoon in Urushi Lacquer by Haruto Furuhashi

A work by Haruto Furuhashi.

There is something so captivating about these spoons that you find yourself turning each one around and around between your fingertips, simply admiring its beauty.

Created on a woodturning lathe, each spoon has a smooth, beautifully refined form. The subtle interplay of light and shadow reveals the elegance of its shape.

We live in an age surrounded by an abundance of things. Yet objects made with great care, carrying the thoughts and dedication of their makers, possess a value that cannot be replaced.

With use, the wood gradually develops a beautiful lustre and a richer, deeper colour. This natural ageing process is one of the special pleasures of handcrafted objects.

A timeless kitchen utensil to enjoy in a variety of cooking tasks, growing more beautiful with everyday use.
