大分県を代表する竹細工作家、竹の道40年以上の竹工芸家高見八州洋氏と竹の道歴30年の妻綾子さんが作り上げる竹の工房竹聲館。

こちらの竹聲館で作られた、麻の葉柄をアレンジした「小入れ麻の葉」という編み方の盛りかご。前後ろ横‥どこから見てもその佇まいは優しく凛としています。

軽くて日々の台所では、フックなどで吊るしておけば乾きも早く、使い道抜群。
調理中の整理カゴにしてもよし、食卓でのパン入れやフルーツ、おやつ入れにしても。無駄がなくシンプルですが、よく見れば、太さの違う竹で編み込まれた模様が軽快なリズムを奏でているのが印象的。何を入れても映えるところが、まさに竹籠の器の大きさです。
