The long, slender chopsticks are conceived as a vertical canvas, making this an especially striking and imaginative work. Because of their elongated form, the sky feels higher and more expansive. A butterfly flutters over a field stirred by a gentle breeze. With the left and right sides intentionally different, the piece has a rhythmic, light, and charming presence.

This is a lacquerware product. Please do not use it in a microwave oven or dishwasher. When washing, use a mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. After washing, wipe off any moisture thoroughly and do not leave it wet. Avoid storing it in places exposed to direct sunlight; prolonged exposure may cause discoloration. In rare cases, lacquer may cause skin irritation. If this occurs, please seek medical attention promptly.
【漆芸家 山岸紗綾さんについて】
季節の繊細な変化を磨かれた感性で見つめ、自然界に生まれては消えゆく美しい情景や空想の中に往来する自然の中のイメージを融合させながら、木を削り、漆を塗り重ね、蒔絵や螺鈿、卵殻などといった漆芸の伝統的な加飾技法を用いて、小さな彫刻作品やジュエリー作品を生み出されています。

Through a refined sensitivity to the delicate changes of the seasons, the artist observes the beautiful scenes born and fading in the natural world, merging these imagery from nature with her imagination. By carving wood and layering lacquer, the artist creates small sculptural pieces and jewelry using traditional decorative techniques of lacquerware, such as maki-e and egg shell inlay.
