我戸幹男商店は明治41年(1908年）ろくろの町山中温泉にて我戸木工所として創業しました。長い歴史を受け継いだ我戸幹男商店の木地士は、天然の素材が生み出した美しい木目を豪快にあらわに残したままひとつひとつを丁寧に挽き上げていきます。芸術の領域までに達したそのフォルムの仕上がりの美しさと実用性を兼ね備えた製品の数々は、いづれも世界にも愛される日本の代表としての風格があります。

素材、木地の精度、透明感のある拭き漆など山中漆器の高い技術力と実用美と和の意識を融合しさらなる高みを求め続けながらも、現代の庶民の生活の中で愛される漆器づくりを心がけています。

[加飾椀]

山中漆器のろくろ技術には４００年以上の歴史があります。他の追随を許さない技術力。その中でも、特にこの「加飾挽き」の技法が特に挙げられるそうです。間隔の揃った平行筋や一気に刃物を動かす渦螺旋筋は40から50種類あるとか。それぞれの技法が、際立つようにシンプルにデザインされた加飾椀、その伝統を継承しながらも現代のライフスタイルにも使いやすく仕上げられています。

ロングセラーの道具を目指し作られたシンプルで美しくスタイリッシュな椀。その姿の美しさは見た目通り。高い技術力がもたらした作品でありながらも、日常的にテーブルで使えるような軽快さと気取りのなさが、この商品の素晴らしいところです。

【お手入れ方法】
・漆の器は食器洗浄機、電子レンジはご使用になれません。
・台所要洗剤や柔らかいスポンジの使用は構いませんが、長い間ご愛用して頂くために、研磨用のスポンジ使用は避けてください。
・紫外線は苦手です。日光のあたる場所に長時間放置しないでください。日焼けしてしまいます。 ・日のそばに置くと変色することがあります。
・焼き物やガラスの器などと重ねないようにしてください。傷がつくことがあります。
・汚れが取れない時などは、しばらく水に浸しても大丈夫です。
・漆の香りが気になる時は、しばらく置いてからご使用ください。

【破損に関するご注意事項】
扱いによっては割れたり折れてしまうものです。配達後の破損につきましては、配達後1週間以内でであっても交換には一切お答えできませんので、ご了承下さい

・万が一漆が痛んでしまった時は修理も承ります。木地自体が割れてしまったり、ひびが入ってしまった場合には修理できない場合がございます。送料と修理代がかかります。詳しくは店舗までお問い合わせください。

Gato Mikio Shoten was founded in 1908 in Yamanaka Onsen, a town renowned for its wood-turning tradition, under the name Gato Woodworks.

[Decorative Bowl]

Yamanaka lacquerware boasts over 400 years of wood-turning history, with techniques unmatched elsewhere.
Among them, the “kashoku-biki” decorative turning technique is especially notable.
There are said to be 40–50 variations, from evenly spaced parallel grooves to dynamic spiral cuts made in a single motion.
This bowl is designed with simplicity to highlight these techniques while remaining practical for modern lifestyles.

Created as a long-lasting everyday tool, the bowl is simple, elegant, and stylish.
Despite the high level of craftsmanship, it feels light and unpretentious at the table.
It is remarkably lightweight, and the base is shaped so that the fingers naturally catch and hold it securely, providing excellent stability.

Care Instructions
・Not suitable for dishwasher or microwave.
・Use mild detergent and a soft sponge; avoid abrasive scrubbers.
・Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources, which may cause discoloration.
・Do not stack with ceramics or glass to prevent scratches.
・Stubborn stains may be removed by briefly soaking in water.
・If the lacquer scent is noticeable at first, allow the piece to air before use.

Damage Policy
These pieces may crack or break if mishandled. We cannot accept exchanges for damage after delivery, even within one week.
Repairs for worn lacquer may be possible; however, repairs may not be feasible if the wooden base is cracked. Shipping and repair fees will apply. Please contact the shop for details.
